What's Included, and What's Excluded

Introducing ExtremeWrap+ Coverage for the parts that Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep doesn’t cover after 3 years or 36,000 miles. The Chrysler Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty covers about 20% of your vehicle, what about the other 80%? That’s where ExtremeWrap+ comes in.

ExtremeWrap+ will provide coverage for the following systems on your vehicle for as many as 10 years.

High-Tech Electronics	Rear Suspension	Steering System

A complete benefits package including sign-and-drive roadside assistance membership, car rental and travel interruption is included for the lifetime of the warranty coverage.

You can even add optional coverage for the Luxury Electronics that your vehicle has including GPS/Navigation system, DVD Video system, Telephone/Bluetooth system and Internet Access system.

ExtremeWrap+ will cover diagnostic fees, parts, labor and sales tax (where applicable) for a covered failure. All our plans offer “wear-and-tear” coverage and include seals and gaskets. We do not exclude damage due to overheating. ALL ExtremeWrap+ plans include FREE 24x7 roadside assistance for the FULL term of the warranty and include $100 towing benefits. You also receive car rental reimbursement and travel interruption benefits. Best of all, our ExtremeWrap+ coverage allows you to make an unlimited number of claims. If you’re not completely satisfied within the first 60 days, we will issue a 100% refund, provided no claims were filed.

ExtremeWrap+ Coverage Statement

We will pay the repair facility of your choice for the reasonable cost to repair or replace any part of your vehicle where a failure has occurred, except for those items listed in the exclusions section.

The following Emissions System parts are included in your coverage:

Air Fuel Ratio Sensor, Air Induction System, Air Pump, Anti-Knock Sensor, Barometric Pressure Sensor, Canister Purge Solenoid, Deceleration Valve, EGR Recirculation System, EGR/EFE Thermal Vacuum Switch, EGR/EFE Valve, Engine Oil Fill Cap, Fuel Fill Pipe and Cap, Fuel Fill Neck Restrictor, Fuel Receptacle, Fuel Sensor, Fuel Tank Pressure Control Valve (PCV), Fuel Temperature Sensor, Idle Air Control Valve, Intake Air Resonator, Intake Air Temperature Sensor, Intake Manifold, Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) Sensor, Mass Air Flow Sensor, Oil/Air Separator, Oxygen Sensor, PCV System, Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve, Powertrain Control Module (PCM), Secondary Air Injection System, Throttle Body Assembly (MFI).

The following Airbag Electronics parts are included in your coverage:
Airbag modules, sensor(s), airbag cable/contact coil, clock spring, on/off switch.

Optional Luxury Electronics coverage:

GPS Navigation Systems - Navigation display unit, navigation control module, navigation system wiring harness.

DVD/Entertainment Systems - LCD screen (10" or less), RF modulator, video cassette player with auxiliary inputs (No recording capability), digital video disc player, power converter.

Phone Systems - Charger/cradle, microphone, speakers, phone.

Internet Access Systems - Power converter, satellite receiver, satellite dish or wireless receiver (Metropolitan areas only).

Exclusions:
Any powertrain related failure. All components originally covered by manufacturer's powertrain coverage.

Battery; Battery/Battery Pack on hybrid vehicles; Shock Absorbers; Manual Transmission Clutch Assembly; Friction Clutch Disc & Pressure Plate; Throw Out Bearing; Manual and hydraulic linkages; Safety restraint systems (including air bags); Glass; Lenses; Sealed Beams; Bulbs; Brake Rotors & Drums; Weather Strips; Exterior Body Parts/Ornamentation; Paint; Upholstery & Carpet; Tires; Wheels/Rims; Exhaust System.

Maintenance services and parts described in your vehicle's owners manual as supplied by the manufacturer. (i.e. oil changes, tune-ups, brake pads, belts, hoses and spark plugs)

Eligibility Requirement for ExtremeWrap+

All Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep models that are covered under the Chrysler Lifetime PowerTrain Limited Warranty are eligible for ExtremeWrap+ coverage. Eligible vehicles must still be within the full factory warranty period (3 years/36,000 miles). ExtremeWrap+ coverage will be measured from the original in-service date of your vehicle.

Please keep in mind that Chrysler Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser or lessee of the vehicle and is not transferable. It is available on most models purchased on or after 7/26/2007.

Why not lock into today's lower rates and protect yourself from tomorrow's rising repair rates?

A common misconception is that by waiting to purchase extended warranty coverage, you will get coverage for a longer time. Much like life insurance costs rise as we age, the cost for an extended automobile warranty will rise as the vehicle accrues mileage. You will be offered the lowest rates for newer vehicles with lower mileage. In other words, you are paying for tomorrow's coverage at today's rates. In addition, our Roadside Assistance benefit may prove to be invaluable during the Manufacturer's Warranty period.

Waiting may also carry other risks. Coverage costs rise as repair rates do. Labor rates have been steadily rising over the past few years. It is not uncommon for a repair facility to charge $100 or more per labor hour. As more repair data becomes available for your vehicle, its costs may also rise. These factors can cause the rates for your vehicle to rise should you elect to purchase coverage later.
