Warranty Direct offers a wide variety of coverages for residents of the United States for vehicles as many as 7 model years old and with as many as 100,000 miles. For older or higher mileage vehicles, please visit
carwarranty.com.
The following vehicles are not eligible for Warranty Direct coverage:
- Vehicles used for commercial
purposes; this includes, but is not limited to, taxis,
livery, police, fire, post office, farm, construction and
delivery vehicles.
- Vehicles with salvage, rebuilt,
flood or similar titles.
- Manufacturer buyback and/or Lemon
Law vehicles.
- Vehicles that have been modified in
a fashion not recommended by the manufacturer (e.g. removal
of emissions control equipment, oversized or undersized
tires, suspension kits).
- Grey market vehicles which are
defined as those that were not manufactured to be sold in
the US and have no factory warranty. Vehicles purchased in
Canada often fall into this category.
- Vehicles with dual rear wheels.
- Certain high performance and/or limited production vehicles including, but not limited to:
- Acura NSX
- Cadillac’s with HT 4100 engines
- Corvette ZR models

- Dodge Viper
- Mercedes AMG models
- Mustang Cobra/ Limited Production Mustangs
- Plymouth Prowler
- Manufacturers not listed on our Vehicle Classification chart.
Warranty Direct reserves the right to disqualify coverage for vehicles not meeting current underwriting criteria. The determination of coverage will be at the sole discretion of Warranty Direct.
